The History of the Real Presence Education and Adoration Association

This association, created by Servant of God Fr. John Hardon, puts what Saint John Paul II strongly urged on our country’s Catholic faithful into practice. The Holy Father states, “The year 2000 will be intensely Eucharistic: in the Sacrament of the Eucharist, the Savior, who took flesh in Mary’s womb twenty centuries ago, continues to offer himself to humanity as the source of divine life.” With the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, in the Diocese of La Crosse at its center, this Eucharistic apostolate will spread throughout the United States and please God worldwide.

There was never a time in Christian history when the world needed to be educated in faith in Christ and belief in the Real Presence in the Eucharist more than today. With the call of the Eucharistic Revival 2024, the same Jesus who worked miracles in first-century Palestine is ready to perform miracles of conversion in our day, provided we believe He is here with us in the Blessed Sacrament.

Some of these miracles manifest themselves as Eucharistic Miracles. So, it was fitting that in 2007, Antonia Acutis, Blessed (soon to be a saint) Carlo Acutis’s mother, approached His Eminence Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke to ask him to bring her son’s work to the Americas.  So in cooperation with Antonia Salzano Acutis, Curator of the Pontifical Academy Cultorum Martyrum and President of the Institute of Saint Clement I Pope and Martyr, the Real Presence Eucharistic Education and Adoration Association, presents the following exhibitions in English, complete with beautiful artwork.

Fr. John Hardon states: “The Real Presence Eucharistic Education and Adoration Association has a most promising future. It all depends on the depth of our faith.”

The Real Presence Association seeks to fulfill this mission as mandated by St. JPII and Servant of God Fr. John Hardon and directed By His Eminence Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke for the greater Glory of God and the salvation of souls.

Mission

The Real Presence Eucharistic Education and Adoration Association is a Catholic organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the belief in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. We provide resources for education and encourage Eucharistic Adoration, particularly through perpetual adoration chapels, to help families and individuals deepen their understanding and devotion to the Eucharist.

The Eucharist Through the Writings of Fr. John Hardon, S.J.

The Eucharist as the Real Presence is the touchstone of sanctity. As evidence of this fact we have the witness of the saints who, when they speak or write about the power of the Blessed Sacrament to sanctify, seem to be positively extreme in their claims about what the Real Presence can achieve in making a sinful person holy.

In order to appreciate the value of the Real Presence in the spiritual life, we must go back in spirit to the event described by St. John when our Lord, after He had worked the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes, made the solemn promise of the Eucharist.

Throughout Christian history, our Lord has shown us that he is really present as the Blessed Sacrament. Interestingly, many Eucharistic miracles have occurred during times of weakened Faith. For instance, many Eucharist miracles have taken place as a result of someone doubting the Real Presence. Included on this page are descriptions of just a few of these miracles. All of them have received full approval by the Church. Most Eucharistic miracles involve incidences in which the Host has “turned into human flesh and blood”.
